Results for final exam

Here below posted is the course result for the final exam, spring 2007. The highest score was 114 points (103.6%, which was set to100%). The lowest score was 38.5 points (35%). For the conversion of your point score to letter grades, please refer to the grade scale given below the graph. Individual final exam and total course grades will be emailed to all students on their registered FIU email address.

Exams can be picked up in my office: Thursday, April 26, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. All final grades must be reported to PantherSoft by May 2, 2007. Thereafter, exams can be picked up whenever I am in office (best to confirm by email). All exams not picked up by May 31, 2007, will be discarded.

Final course grades

For calculation of final course grades, results for the first mid-term exam were curved up by 2 points = 3% (highest score of 70 points out of 72 points was set to 100%). The second mid-term and the final exam could not be curved up since the highest scores were 100% (or higher in the final exam). Your final course grade is calculated as:

0.25 x 1st mid-term + 0.25 x 2nd mid-term + 0.50 x final exam

Final course grades will be reported to each student by email to your registered FIU email account. Use the below list to convert your percent scores into letter grades.
