Development of Coelom
Tissue development in embryo: After few cell divisions, embryo cells differentiate into ectoderm (outer layer), endoderm (inner layer), mesoderm (intermediate layer)
Ectoderm gives rise to skin and neural system
Endoderm gives rise to digestive tract
Mesoderm gives rise to muscles and skeleton
Acoelomates: no body cavity, all threetissues in contact
Pseudocoelomates: body cavity ispseudocoel between mesoderm andendoderm
Coelomates: body cavity (coelom)develops within mesoderm
